Miscellaneous Signs
You can see a sign during the mayhem in Edge
that looks like it might be Cloud's advertisement
for his delivery service. The image looks like
a silhouette of his bike, and the words
seem to read GOOD BIKE.

As Reno flies from an impact, you can see a sign
that reads TRUE EYES. The image on the sign
suggests that it may advertise an
optometrist's practice.

While Reno battles on a rooftop, you can see a sign that reads:
FRESHNESS COFFEE
Made in Shinra.CO since 1999

Right before Rude gets floored by a falling LOVELESS sign,
you can see an advertisement in the background for:
CRUNCHY &
CANDY
BAR

Please note that I haven't seen a very clear shot
of this sign anywhere else, so my reading
of the first line of this sign is more
a guess than anything.

Two unique signs appear in this picture.

The first is an old direction sign from Midgar.

Only a few words are legible.
The top panel reads "Midgar" as its first word.
The third panel from the top reads "Station."
The bottom panel reads either "Sector 3" or "Sector D."
The second sign reads "EDGE PIZZA"

A strange sign appears twice through the movie.
It reads "bahamut" (no capitalization) and it has a
silhouette
picture of one of the Bahamut design sketches.

For comparison, here are enlarged versions of the above
selections
compared side-by-side with the Bahamut concept sketches
featured in the documentary on the second DVD.

One of the traffic signs in the town center features the
number 100,
and then below reads "SPEED LIMIT."
While the specific unit cannot be read, it's hard to imagine
what kind of measurement standard would justify
100 units of speed in an easily congested area.
For the record, I have been challenged on this point to
consider that the
"100" refers to kilometers. 100 km/hr is approximately equal to
62 m/hr. This is way to fast for congested urban traffic.
At least where I live.

Barrett runs past a sign for a Toy Shop.

In the background of a number of scenes, a sign advertising
the local Chocobo House is visible.

One detail over Yuffie's shoulder reveals the words
"of chocobo farm"
written in the upper left corner of the sign.
Unfortunately, the rest of the sign is illegible
during the film.

Along with the Golden Saucer advertisement,
you can see a sign for the
MIDGUL
EDGE TEMPLE

Again behind Barrett, a sign that reads
"HOUMEI"
can be seen.

The name appears again in a subsequent scene,
in small print on an industrial metal cube.

The following image has been manipulated to draw out the details.

In the upper right hand corner of the previous image,
a sign can be found with a hand in the "V for Victory" sign
along with the letters BFD forming a sort of acrostic
running along the top and left side of the sign.

One of the more obscure signs in the background reads
SETH THOMPSON.
